Hold a batch for review
Keep an unfinished or questioned batch out of the posting process without deleting it.
What it does
Hold gives the reviewer time to verify dates, accounts, descriptions, and amounts before a batch reaches the ledger.
Place an unposted batch on hold directly from the Console.
Held batches remain visible and available for review.
Post All skips batches that are on hold.
Remove the hold when the batch is ready to continue.
Accounting result
The batch stays intact and reviewable, but cannot be posted until the hold is removed.
