LedgerSL uses a small, first-party analytics system to understand which pages are useful and which browsers and devices need support. It is deliberately designed not to identify or follow visitors.
No advertising. No profiles. No following you around.
Analytics remain within the LedgerSL website and are stored only as aggregate daily totals.

Your privacy choices are respected.
Website analytics honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. A temporary marker may be placed in the current browser tab solely to avoid counting every page as a new visit. It contains no identifier, is not sent to other websites, and disappears when the tab closes.
The website’s analytics code categorizes browser information and then discards the full browser description. It does not read or store IP addresses. Aggregate totals are used only to improve LedgerSL’s website and software support.
The Linux-or-Windows survey does not ask for your name or email address. If you submit a response, the website saves your choice and a hashed, random survey reference. The original reference stays in your browser’s local storage so returning visits and retries can find the same response instead of adding another vote.
This reference is used only for the survey, is not connected to website analytics, and is not shared with other websites. The survey does not store your IP address or browser description. Only combined vote totals are shown publicly. Clearing browser storage removes the local reference but does not remove the response already counted.
